  • A Practical examination on Support Strategies for Students' Creation in the Classes of "Technology of Materials and Processing" in Junior High School Technology Education : Focusing on Students' Design Project in Wood Working, 世良 啓太, 東田 薫, 黒田 昌克, 森山 潤, 次世代教員養成センター研究紀要 = Bulletin of Teacher Education Center for the Future Generation, (4) 77 - 83,   2018 03 , 本研究の目的は、中学校技術・家庭科技術分野の内容A.「材料と加工に関する技術」において木材加工を主とした自由設計題材を設定し、設計時の生徒の工夫・創造を支援する方略について実践的に検討することである。まず、生徒に自由設計課題の発想を広げさせるために、アルトシュラーのTRIZ の発明原理をヒントに既製品の改良案を考えさせる方略を用いた実践を行った。その後、生徒に自分の設計アイデアを深めさせるために、タブレット端末を用いた製作品データベース、厚紙やスチレンボードを用いたプロトタイピングなど、複数の支援策の中から自分に必要だと思われる支援策を自ら選択させる方略を用いた実践を行った。その結果、生徒の自由設計に向けた構想が広がるとともに、現実的な制約条件を踏まえた設計へと収束していく様子が設計図の変容から確認され、生徒の工夫・創造する力や態度の高まりが示唆された。

  • A Practical Examination of learning method to build the Applying Abilities : for Daily Life in "Learning of material processing", 上之園 哲也, 中原 久志, 森山 潤, 弘前大学教育学部紀要, (114) 75 - 85,   2015 10 , 本研究の目的は,中学校技術・家庭科技術分野(以下,技術科)において,生活応用力の形成を支援する学習指導方法を構想し,試行的実践を通してその効果を検証することである。筆者らの先行研究に基づき,内容A「材料と加工に関する技術」の学習において,「共通課題-プロダクト重視型」の導入題材,生活との関わりを意識させる中間題材、「個別課題-プロセス重視型」の主題材という多段階の題材設定を指導仮説として導入した。中学1年生184名を対象とした実践の結果,生活応用力の内,「技術活用力」因子は実践全体を通して段階的に有意な向上を示す学習効果が認められた。また,「技術評価・判断力」因子は,導入・中間題材間において一旦水準が減衰した後,中間・主題材間で回復するV字型の推移傾向を示した。これらのことから,本実践において導入した指導仮説には,生活応用力を高める一定の効果のあることが検証された。

  • A Case Study of Students' Self-concept in Technical High School : Through the Ethnography from Entrance into School to Graduation, 島田 和典, 森山 潤, 大分大学教育福祉科学部研究紀要, 34, (2) 207 - 222,   2012 10 , 本研究の目的は、工業高校における生徒の自己概念の変容・形成過程を、エスノグラフィー(授業参与記録、教師へのインタビュー等)を通して縦断的に検討することである。S工業高校生181名の3年間の自己概念の形成状況を、「工業高校生の自己概念尺度」(筆者ら、2007)を用いて把握し、ライフイベントとの関連性を視野に、エスノグラフィーを基に具体的な事例を検討した。3年間の自己概念の変容を分類した結果、13年間を通して自己概念が適切に形成された状態の生徒群40名(31.2%)、2適切に形成されていない状態が続いた生徒群33名(25.8%)、3低学年時には自己概念が適切に形成されていたものが高学年時に水準が減衰した生徒群21名(16.4%)等となった。これらの傾向を示す生徒に対し、エスノグラフィーに基づく事例を検討した結果、自己概念の変容の見られた生徒は、学校適応状況や将来の自己像の変化がその契機となっており、これらの現象的な変化に対する教員の適時的なサポートの重要性が示された。######The purpose of this study is to explore the alteration of students'###self-concept in technical high school focusing on the ethnography from###entrance into school to graduation. We conducted a questionnaire###survey on 181 technical high school students throughout three years,###from 10th to 12th grade, as a longitudinal design study. We used the###"Scale of Self-concept in Technical High Schools (Shimada et al., 2007)".###As a result of the survey, we classified the students into 6 groups such as###"Students with a good self-concept situation throughout the three years###(31.2%)", "Students with a bad self-concept situation (25.8%)", "Students###whose self-concept showed a change towards a worse the situation in###higher school years (16.4%)". We analyzed the alteration of students'###self-concept based on the ethnography. As a result, we found that###students whose situation of "school adjustment" or whose "future###self-image" changed, also changed their self-concept. Therefore we###suggested that teachers should keep an eye out for these students'###situations and give timely support to the students.

  • Differences in the learning motivation by field-dependent and field-independent cognitive style in technology education, 市原 靖士, 宮川 洋一, 島田 和典, 森山 潤, The Research bulletin of the Faculty of Education and Welfare Science,Oita University, 33, (1) 89 - 96,   2011 04 , 本研究の目的は、中学校技術・家庭科技術分野(技術料)において、学習者の場依存・独立型認知スタイルが学習意欲に及ぼす影響を検討することである。中学3年生計213名(有効回答179名)を対象に埋没図形テストを用いて学習者の認知スタイル測定を行った後、質問紙法によって学習意欲を把握し、両者の関連性を分析した。その結果、技術料における学習意欲は、場依存・独立型認知スタイルによって影響され、場独立型の学習者の方が場依存型の学習者よりも、「成就感・達成感への期待」「知的好奇心」「操作・活動への期待」を強く喚起されやすい傾向にあることが示された。また、認知スタイルによって「学習の意義理解」と「知的好奇心」の優位性が異なり、特に場依存型の学習者において「知的好奇心」の優位性が低くなる傾向が示された。これらの結果から、技術料における学習意欲を喚起するためには、体験的・実践的な学習活動を基礎としながらも、学習者の認知スタイルの違いに配慮した支援の方策が重要であることが示唆された。The purpose of this study is to examine the differences in the learning motivation by field-dependent and field-independent cognitive style in technology education. We have conducted a survey on 213 junior high school students (with 179 valid responses) by using "Embedded Figures Test" and "Scale of Students' Learning Motivation". As a result of the ANOVA, we have suggested that field-dependent and field-independent cognitive style has been influential in students' learning motivation. In particular, learning motivation of field-dependent learners was strong such as in " a sense of accomplishment expectation of fulfillment," "intellectual curiosity," "expectation of operational activities"). From these examinations, we have pointed out that assistance for students in necessary to consider specific strategies to increase learning motivation of field-dependent learners.

Natural science, 59,   2010 12 03 , 本研究では、適応指導教室等で活用可能な、不登校の児童生徒向けの学習ソフトの開発を行う。開発する学習ソフトは、適応指導教室の指導員の負担にならない形式とすること、そして個々の児童生徒に対応できる内容であることを考慮した上で、適応指導教室の指導員を対象としたニーズ調査に基づいて仕様を策定することにした。The purpose of this paper is to develop a multimedia presentation software for non-attendant students and to evaluate it by practicing learning activity. Recently, treatment of non-attendant students in school education is one of the serious issues in Japan. Teachers should support them from these aspects: support of learning, support of promoting social skills and support of mental health. As one of these, there is ICT utilization in classroom for non-attendant students. Therefore, multimedia presentation software was developed in order to support them from the above three aspects. This software has three functions, i.e. image presentation section, movie presentation section and text presentation section, based on blackboard system. Usage of this software was designed based on the cognitive characteristics of non-attendant students. As a result of trial practice by using this software, non-attendant students who took part in this activity could use this software without any difficulties. And, they could not only make presentation by this software, but also communicate naturally with their friends and instructors. In addition, the instructors gave affirmative evaluation to the software and proposed new some ideas of utilization of it.

  • Strategy for digital contents use in technology education by consideration of students' reflection-impulsivity cognitive style, 市原 靖士, 島田 和典, 上之園 哲也, 森山 潤, The Research bulletin of the Faculty of Education and Welfare Science,Oita University, 32, (1) 139 - 149,   2010 04 , 本研究の目的は、中学校技術科「情報とコンピュータ」の学習指導において熟慮・衝動型認知スタイルを考慮したディジタルコンテンツの活用方略を実践的に検討することである。筆者らはこれまで、ディジタルコンテンツ活用と学習者の熟慮・衝動型認知スタイルとの関連性を検討し、衝動型の学習者では、マルチメディア性の強い教材において学習内容の理解が促進されやすい半面、熟慮型の男子はマルチメディア性の強い教材では学びにくさを感じやすい傾向にあることを指摘した(市原ら2009)。そこで本研究では、衝動型認知スタイルによるこれらの差異を解消するために、学習中にモニターに提示されるマルチメディアコンテンツを任意のタイミングで自由に画像キャプチャーさせる手立てを用いた。その結果、認知スタイルとストラテジー有無群間で交互作用が有位傾向を示し、少なくとも熟慮型の男子においては本実践の手立てによってマルチメディア性の強い教材を利用した場合の学びにくさを解消することができた。The purpose of this paper is to examine instructional strategy for digital contents use in technology education by consideration of students' reflection-impulsivity cognitive style. We have already suggested that there were differences between reflectional students and impulsive students in the case of learning with digital contents(Ichihara et.al 2009). Impulsive students' understanding of learning contents is more easily promoted with multimedia digital contents. On the other hands, we pointed out that reflectional students felt difficulty in learning by multimedia digital contents. Consequently, in this paper, in order to resolve these differences in students' reflection-impulsivity cognitive style, we can let students capture freely the content of learning from contents shown by a monitor of learning strategy.######As a result of experimental practice, we learned that the difference in understanding between reflectional students and impulsive students in learning with multimedia digital contents had disappeared using this strategy

  • A review of research on education of information morals in the compulsory education stage: a review of scientific studies which utilized a CiNii article information navigator, MIYAGAWA Yoichi, FUKUMOTO Toru, MORIYAMA Jun, The Annual report of the Faculty of Education, Iwate University, 69,   2009 , 近年,「青少年が利用する学校非公式サイト(匿名掲示板)等」,いわゆる「学校裏サイト」の存在が話題となっている.平成20年4月に公表された文部科学省スポーツ・青少年局青少年課による調査(2008)では,このようなサイト・スレッド数は38,260件に上ることが明らかとなった.また,抽出調査した書き込みの2,000件の内,「キモイ」「ウザイ」の誹謗・中傷の32語が含まれるものが50%,性器の俗称などわいせつな12語が含まれるものが37%,「死ね」,「消えろ」,「殺す」など暴力を誘発する20語が含まれるものが27% になることが確認された.高度情報社会の影に対する教育の必要性は,多くの研究者が述べているが,社会問題化している学校における「いじめ問題」とインターネットをはじめとする情報通信環境の普及が絡み合い,情報モラル教育は新たな段階をむかえている.これまでも,義務教育諸学校では,情報モラル教育,メディアリテラシー教育などを通して,高度情報社会の影の部分を指導するとともに,教育活動全体で推進する道徳(道徳の時間も含む)などを通して,基本的な生活習慣や人間としてしてはならないことなど,社会生活を送る上で人間としてもつべき最低限の規範意識,自他の生命の尊重,自分への信頼感や自信などの自尊感情や他者への思いやりなどの道徳性を養う指導を継続している.しかし,児童・生徒を取り巻く環境は急速に変化しており,携帯電話に代表されるネット端末の普及は「学校裏サイト」などへの関わりの温床となっていることが,容易に想像できる.これまで以上に,高度情報社会の影に対する学校教育のあり方,言い換えれば,学校における情報モラル教育の重要性が増してきたといえる.特に,義務教育では,学習指導要領改訂の時期となり,これまでの研究を整理し,今後の課題を明確にしておくことは,意義あることと考えられる.一般に,義務教育では,児童・生徒の実態把握→カリキュラムの立案→教材の選定または開発→授業実践及び評価という一連の手順を経て,教育実践がなされる.この観点から先行研究を整理しておくことは,学校現場の教員にとって,有意義なものになると考えられる.これまで,情報モラル教育,情報倫理教育に関する研究を整理したものでは,阿濱(2004)が,高等機関における情報倫理教育,初等中等教育における情報倫理教育という区分で先行研究を概観している.そして,これらの先行研究で取り上げられてきた学習すべき内容を整理し,カテゴリ分けをしている.義務教育における研究の概観もなされているが,既述した四つの観点において,先行研究を整理したものではなく,情報モラル教育,情報倫理教育に関する研究を,既述した四つの観点から整理したものは,管見の限り見あたらない.そこで,本研究では,情報モラル,情報倫理に関する教育の先行研究について,特に義務教育段階に焦点を当てて,児童・生徒の実態把握,カリキュラム,教材開発,授業実践及び評価のカテゴリを設定して整理をした上で,今後の研究を展望することにした.なお,西・本郷(2005)よれば,情報モラルについては,「情報倫理意識に基づき,個人の自主的な判断,自己の内的規制ないしは自己統制による,個人の行動や態度」と捉え,情報倫理は,「情報社会における人間のあり方にかかわる問題として,人間社会としての共同体を存続させるための道理あるいは社会規範」と捉えている.一方,越智(2000)は,情報モラルについて,「情報モラルという標語とともに言及されていることがらは,すべてこれまで『情報倫理』という言葉で問題とされてきたものばかりである.」とした上で,「情報モラルが,発達段階を考慮して造語された初等中等教育向け情報倫理だと見なすのが自然である」と指摘する.これらの用語には,いくつかの捉え方があることを踏まえつつ,本研究では,基本的に以後「情報モラル」で括り,使用することにする.

  • Development and Evaluation of HTML Editor That Support Students' Web Design in "Information and Computer", MIYAGAWA Youichi, MORIYAMA Jun, Studies on educational practices, 7,   2006 09 30 , A tool named "HTML EDITOR Plus (HEPlus)" was developed in order to support student's making of Web pages in the "Information and Computer" class. This software included an input tool bar, the preview function and the error check function. Evaluation on the practicality of this software was carried out on 2nd grade students in junior high school. As a result of using this software, the achievement rate was improved and the time for task completion was decreased. Also, students who intended to be more creative in the activity thought this software useful. These results suggested that HEPlus was effective as a learning support tool for making web pages in Technology Education.

  • Developing A Network Database System for Grasping Students' School Life at Junior High School : Focusing on Observation for Record of Behavior in Cumulative Guidance Record, MIYAGAWA Youichi, MORIYAMA Jun, Studies on educational practices, 6,   2005 09 30 , The network database system named "Seito Plus!" was developed in order to understand the students' school life. This database utilized the local area network in the junior high school. Teachers can register and share the information of student behaviors based on the categories that were defined in "Record of Behavior" of the cumulative guidance record by using this system. As a result of test-use for six weeks, 257 units of data were registered by 12 teachers. 22.7% of the data registered was in category D: "sense of responsibility". However, data entered for category G: "respect of life and protection of nature" were only 0.4%. These results suggested that there were differences in teachers' purposes for observation and that teachers could not only share information on students behaviors but also reflect their on own purposes for making observation by using this system.

  • An Implementation of Making Digital Portfolio as a Learning Activity of the Content B : "Information and Computer" in Technology Education, MORIYAMA Jun, AIZAWA Mitsutoshi, YASHIRO Yusuke, YAMAURA Sadakazu, MIYAGAWA Youichi, Studies on educational practices, 4,   2003 09 30 , The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of making digital portfolio as a learning activity of Contents B : "Information and Computer" in Technology Education. Thirty-eight first-year junior high school students made their own digital portfolios that reported their activities (wood working activities in Contents A : "Technology and Manufacturing") using HTML. The results of the implementation were as follows : (1) Making digital portfolios promoted students' self-awareness of skill-acquisitions, troubleshooting and project managements in technological activities. (2) Students' abilities of "judgment of information, " "creation of information" and "ethics of information" were developed in the processes of making digital portfolios. (3) Students' self-monitoring of technological activities in the process of making digital portfolios promoted students to make other digital portfolios concomitantly. These results suggested that this activity was effective for not only developing the ability to utilize information but also creating a connection curriculum between Contents B and A in the Technology Education Curriculum.

  • 7.Measurement of Soil Temperatures in Plant Cultivating Fields and Pots, YANAGAWA Tadashi, SHIMATANI Madoka, MAEKAWA Koichiro, MORIYAMA Jun, Annual report of researches in environmental education, 6,   1998 03 31 , 植物を栽培する際の重要な環境要因である地温について検討するために,京都教育大学附属環境教育実践センターにおいて,植物を栽培した圃場と植物を栽培していない裸地ならびに種々の鉢内における地温の継続的な測定を行っ。圃場では夏半期と冬半期,栽培地と裸地とで,地表面と地中の温度変化のパターンが明確に異なることがわかった。鉢における地温の測定では,本実験の期間内には測定箇所の鉢内設置方位による違いや植物の有無による大きな温度較差は認められなかった。本実験で用いた小型温度計測器による地中温度の解析例などは,いろいろな栽培環境に容易に適用できるため,実験教材としても有効に利用できる。

An Analysis of a Concept About Cultivation of Junior High School Students, MORIYAMA Jun, KIRITA Jyoichi, YANAGAWA Tadashi, Annual report of researches in environmental education, 5,   1997 03 31 , In this paper, a concept about cultivation of junior high school students was analysed. As the result by Words Association Method and Factor Analysis, 4 constructive factors were found: Image of natural science, Image of gardening, Image of industiral technology and Image of social science. The character of students' concept about cultivation was coincident with the Prototype Theory (Rosch 1975). In addition, 6 keywords represented prototype of these factors were found: "Air", "Soil", "Concrete name of crops", "Water", "Plant" and "Human being". These results might be used for organization of learning contents complied with students' actual conditions on the cultivation learning in Technology Education.
