Class Development and Teacher Education by uniting Mathematics and Mathematics Education based on Theoretical Frameworks

This study has aimed the realization of the research method in which mathematics and mathematics education are united, based on some theoretical frameworks. Starting from the theoretical study on teaching materials developed by co-operative studies between mathematicians and mathematics education researchers based on APOS theory, we have proceeded towards practical class developments. As a result, our study involved some students at the professional schools of teacher education and successfully elaborated some practical research results. In the research process, with the help of theoretical frameworks such as anthropological theory of didactics, APOS theory or the theory regarding the role of mathematical proof, the activation of the knowledge as mathematicians along with the mathematics educational frameworks led to the successful class developments and, in our research, this research methods of uniting mathematics and mathematics education were established.

A Study on Learners Generating Examples Strategy in Mathematics Learning

The aim of this study was to construct teaching strategies from a new perspective on "learners generate examples of mathematical concepts" in mathematics learning. As results, I found that "the learners-generated examples have varieties that can be integrated." "When evaluating the quality of an example, it is a prerequisite to determine whether the example is 'example for' or 'example of'." "How to develop the learner's example space is one of the important points in learning instruction." In addition to these, I have developed teaching materials for the concept formation of the square root.

Development of a program to develop teaching materials research skills of teachers to foster metacognition of children in arithmetic learning

A theoretical study was conducted on "understanding the contents of learning" and "development of metacognitive abilities in children". In that case, we observed and analyzed the actual classroom site and considered it from the actual situation of the learning guidance. We conducted theoretical and practical research on teaching materials in the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Teacher Education. In particular, the Department of Mathematics and Mathematics has begun to study the ideal way of researching teaching materials. These theoretical and practical outcomes and challenges were discussed. We examined the ideal way to develop teacher's teaching material research skills with the aim of "understanding the contents of learning" and "fostering children's meta-cognitive skills". Using the above framework, we conducted practical tests in teacher training and university classes.

2023/03 A fact-finding survey on the use of IRS analysis in mathematics teaching in Taiwan
令和４（2022）年度兵庫教育大学研究者海外派遣プログラムを利用し，台湾の国立台中教育大学を訪問し，IRS分析（Item Relational Structure Analysis，項目関連構造分析）について共通理解を図り，現地の小学校算数科の授業観察を行った。

2019/10 A comparative study on the contents of mathematics textbooks in Japanese and Taiwanese elementary schools
平成31（2019）年度兵庫教育大学研究者海外派遣プログラムを利用し，台湾の国立台中教育大学を訪問し，Bluner，Lesh，中原の表現体系に関する知見，Charalabousの教科書分析の枠組み，Yangの内容分析法を参照しながら，教科書内容を比較する方法を検討した。

平成29年度（2017）兵庫教育大学研究者短期招へいプログラムを利用し，台湾の国立台中教育大学の陳彥廷副教授を招き，算数教科書の内容を比較したり，小学校算数科の授業観察に出向いたりした。

2016/05 日本の中学校数学科における学習指導の現状と課題ー数学的活動を通した学びー
台湾の国立台中教育大学で開催された，The Eighth International Conference on Technology and Mathematics Education and Workshop of Mathematics Teaching に関する国際セミナーで，日本の中学校数学科における学習指導の現状と課題について発表した。
